Cleaning the interior of the device – PHS/Multi PHS

ATTENTION!

  • – Operate only when the power is off! Switch on the E-STOP button on the Control Panel to cut off power from the internal components of the machine.
  • – For this operation, the vacuum cleaner must be completely disconnected from the PHS (suction and power).

  1. Using a 5 mm Allen key, unscrew the Service access panel to the Powder feeding screw (right side of the device). The panel holds 4 screws.
  2. Remove the Antistatic hose from the connector on the device.
  3. Connect a PVC brush to the end of the Antistatic hose vacuum cleaner.
  4. Check the grounding of the ATEX Vacuum Cleaner.
  5. Turn on the vacuum cleaner and clean the interior of the device. ATTENTION! While vacuuming, pay attention to the electrical installation and grounding!
  6. Treat the contents of the vacuum cleaner as waste for disposal.
  7. After vacuuming, install the panel back in place with screws.
  8. Remove the PVC brush from the end of the Antistatic hose.
  9. Connect the Antistatic hose back to the connector in the PHS.
  10. Reconnect the Vacuum cleaner power supply to the PHS.
  11. Reconnect the PHS to the power supply.
  12. Unlock the E-STOP button.
  13. Well done. The device is ready for further use.
